The Seasonal Talent Acquisition Coordinator reports to and assists the Talent Acquisition Manager in recruiting practices, specifically administrative functions. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) will participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. He/She will be responsible for attracting candidates through supporting our social media platform and our Applicant Tracking System. The TAC will evaluate resumes, schedule, and conduct phone screens, and where needed, interviews. He/She will also manage the new hire paperwork process, new hire surveys, and support our District Managers with other administrative tasks that are needed to support the staffing process. 

This is a new position for The Wireless Experience. We are recruiting for a seasonal full-time position with the potential for it to become a full-time regular role within the Human Resource Department.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consult with District Managers and Talent Acquisition Manager to discover staffing requirements and specific job needs.
  • Write and post job descriptions for TWE positions on our various social media sites, such as Talent Reef, Indeed, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 
  • Source candidates by using our databases and social media.
  • Evaluate and screen applicants through Talent Reef and Indeed.
  • Use recruiting tools including our assessment process to assess candidates' skills.
  • Conduct phone, Skype, and/or in-person interviews.
  • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions with DM input.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met.
  • Support the HR team and District Managers with new hire folder maintenance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous work in HR or Talent Acquisition a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax.Knowledgeable about current recruiting trends and competitors.
  • Able to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and procedures a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Hands on experience with various applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience with interviewing or at minimum, phone screening.
  • Experience and familiarity with social media, including Facebook and LinkedIn. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:    

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or Business Mgmt. a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Previous retail history and proven track record of success, career progression / growth.
